Golden Ice Milk recipe

Golden milk for glowing skin,, hell yesss!

Curcuma, kunyit, otherwise known as turmeric…
This is one of my favorite spices by far. In addition to the fact that it’s easy to incorporate into almost any dish, it’s also very good for you and impact your body beyond your tastebuds. This recipe calls for cinnamon, which helps cleanse the body, ginger, which soothes the digestive system and eases stress, and coconut milk as well as black pepper, which helps the body absorb the nutritional benefits of the herbs.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey or agave, depending if you like it sweet or not
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A little bit of hot water, just to mix
  • Ginger, I mostly use freshly sliced ginger, but feel free to use powder if that’s more convenient for you
  • 1. To a big cup add a little layer of cooked water, ground turmeric, ground ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and the 1-2 teaspoons of honey or agave

    2. Whisk to combine all the ingredients. Add the ice cubes and coconut milk and whisk again.

    3. Taste to adjust flavor. Add more sweetener to taste or more turmeric or ginger for intense spice + flavor.

    4. Serve immediately, dividing between two glasses. Best when fresh, though leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
